the passport
Within Schengen (EU) you can fly with “el DNI” (ID card). The passport is needed for non-EU flights.

the suitcase (luggage)
“Facturar” = to check in (hold luggage). “Equipaje facturado” = checked; “equipaje de mano” = carry-on. Over the limit = “exceso de equipaje” (a fee).

the boarding pass
Keep it until boarding. It shows “la puerta” (gate) and “el asiento” (seat). It can be on your phone or printed.
